The backbone of any community is its schools. Good schools bring families to the area, provide a platform for a stable economy, and help the next generation reach their highest potential. Horry County Schools will host our quarterly meeting. Even if you do not have children in our local schools, you are still paying school taxes so come learn more about the operations of our local school district, the incredible work and achievements that are happening in our schools, and the many volunteer opportunities that exist for you to get involved with the youth in our community. Stantec Design and Consulting was granted Award of Excellence for the St. James Intermediate School in Burgess.
*See the map for school location.
Active shooter events are unpredictable and evolve quickly. Because active shooter situations are often over within 10 to 15 minutes, before law enforcement arrives on the scene, individuals must be prepared both mentally and physically to deal with active shooter events.
Presented by the Horry County Police
15th Circuit Solicitor Jimmy A. Richardson II will explain what is happening regarding the local area opioid epidemic.
You will learn the facts about the need for the special election on the referendum for the Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire District. There will be a special election July 16th to vote on referendum.
How does your ‘Southern Lawn & Garden’ grow?
