Quality Schools/Quality Community Connection

Quarterly Meeting

Thursday, February 27, 2020
St. James Intermediate School*
9641 Scipio Lane

6:00 p.m. –  Optional School Tour

Come in the main door of the school and there will be greeters to assist everyone on where to go from there. School Ambassadors will be giving the tours.

7:00 p.m. – Meeting Begins

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Rick Maxey, Superintendent of Horry County Schools.

The backbone of any community is its schools. Good schools bring families to the area, provide a platform for a stable economy, and help the next generation reach their highest potential. Horry County Schools will host our quarterly meeting. Even if you do not have children in our local schools, you are still paying school taxes so come learn more about the operations of our local school district, the incredible work and achievements that are happening in our schools, and the many volunteer opportunities that exist for you to get involved with the youth in our community. Stantec Design and Consulting was granted Award of Excellence for the St. James Intermediate School in Burgess.
